Hello,

MarineLife would like to welcome you to our CHARM III Channel Marine Mammal & Seabird Survey Blog!

From now on you can keep up to date with recent sightings reported to us by skippers of angling, dive, fishing boats and members of the public from across the South West.

You can also read about our cetacean and seabird encounters during Opportunistic and Systematic 'Transect' Surveys here.

We are in the process of updating our current website to include specific pages on this CHARM III Project. Soon you will be able to learn more about the CHARM III English Channel Project, the key marine mammal and seabird species found in the Channel. Click on our weblink to find out how you can help.

In the meantime, if you see a porpoise, dolphin, whale or rare seabird
, like the critically endangered Balearic Shearwater, whilst out at sea or from land, please let us know by emailing us at sightings@marine-life.org.uk

Thank you for your ongoing support.
